Peace Portal Church Tax Clinic is open from March 1st to April 28th (excluding Easter weekend and April 18th we will only be open until 12pm).
Seniors Walk: February
Join us for a peaceful and scenic walk through Alaksen National Wildlife Area, known for its flat trails, river views, and abundant birdlife. This easy-paced walk is well suited for enjoying nature and good conversation along the way. After, join us for an optional lunch at Dairy Queen, Ladner.
Men's Breakfast
Men of all ages are invited to this Men’s Breakfast. Kick off your Saturday with a great breakfast and some inspiration to start your day. A time to eat some great food, be inspired and connect with other men at Peace Portal. Cost is $10/person.
50th Anniversary
Celebrate 50 years of God’s faithfulness at Peace Portal Church! Join us for Celebration & Reception on Saturday, April 18th (1-4 PM) featuring storytelling and tours (RSVP required), and our Anniversary Services on Sunday, April 19th (9 AM & 11 AM) with special worship and a vision-casting message (no RSVP needed).
Christianity + Culture Season Two
Christianity + Culture Season Two is coming on April 12th! This 5-week course explores how we engage with various aspects of culture and the intersection of our faith in Christ and the world we live in. Discussion topics like sexual ethics + gender ideology, earth keeping and MAiD in Canada are covered, intended to deepen the gospel lens by which we view all things.

Baptism Lunch
Jesus calls all who follow him to be baptized as a way of identifying with him and committing their life to him. If you'd like to learn more about baptism and consider whether you would choose to follow Jesus in this way, come join us for a casual lunch and discussion.
Citizenship Preparation Classes
Are you getting ready to write the Canadian Citizenship Exam? Are you interested in getting to know this great country? Join us for May 2nd and May 9th for this two session class. You must attend both sessions.
Young Adults Retreat
Young Adults (18-28) are invited to join us for a weekend away at Charis Camp in Chilliwack. This will be a weekend to unplug, build deeper friendships, and grow in your faith together. Whether you're brand new or have been around for years, we're excited to have you there!
Five Minute Film Fest
Join us for Journey's annual Five Minute Film Festival. Each small group will be showcasing a five minute movie of their own creation. Get ready to walk the red carpet, eat great snacks and see your friends on the big screen! It starts at 7:00 pm and costs $10.

Get ready to unearth the truth! Dig In is a 5-day adventure where kids discover that the Bible isn't just an old book: it's God's Word, filled with real stories, real people, and real places.
Dig In: Volunteer
Want to volunteer at Dig In Camp this summer? We need people who love kids, don't mind getting their hands a little dirty, and want to be part of something genuinely good this July. There are so many ways to serve! Learn more and join in the fun. Training is provided on June 21st.

Journey to Easter
Experience this free 20 minute walk-through experience for the whole family. Move through hands-on stations that bring the Easter story to life, from Palm Sunday to resurrection morning.
Good Friday
Join us for our Good Friday services (April 3) at 9am & 11am as we read Luke’s account of the arrest, trial, and crucifixion of Jesus. Then celebrate with us on Easter Sunday, April 5th.

Youth Sundays - Royal DQ Banquet
Hear ye, hear ye, students of grades 5, 6, and 7! You have been formally invited to attend the 10th annual Dairy Queen Banquet! Co-Ed Softball League
Join our co-ed Softball League starting this spring (April 11th) at North Langley Diamond Sports. This league is intended for men and women with prior experience in softball or baseball. Sign up to let us know your interest and we will reach out to you shortly with more details.
Men's Worship Night
Men of all ages are invited for a night of worship at the A Rocha Barn (1620 192 St, Surrey, BC V3Z 9V2). It will be a meaningful evening of worship, prayer, and connection. Make sure to dress warmly as the barn has no heat. Food is not included.
YA Bowling Night
Young Adults (18–28), come build some friendships (and knock down some pins) at Sandcastle! A relaxed, fun night of bowling, perfect whether you're a regular or just checking us out for the first time.
Living Well
Living Well is a faith-based peer support group focused on mental wellness and connection, where you can share experiences, find encouragement, and grow together in a supportive space. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from January to May, from 7:00–8:30pm in Room L02. No registration is required.
Peace Portal Kids: Ambassador Training
This training afternoon is open to students in grades 6 & 7 who are already serving or would like to serve in Peace Portal Kids. You can expect to discover how to serve and participate, build teamwork and leadership skills, and join in on interactive activities and group discussion.

Students in grade 5 to 12 are invited to join us for our annual Glow Games: a night of neon fun! Make sure you wear your glowy-est clothes (whites, neons, etc) but make sure you can move around for this night full of activity.
Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season to prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter. We humble ourselves before God and remember our mortality, our frailty, our sin, and in result, our deep need for a Saviour. Join us for this special mid-week service on February 18th in the gym at 6:30pm.
All For Love: A Big Band Valentine

YA Ice Skating Carpooling
Young Adults are going ice skating at Cloverdale Sport & Ice Complex! If you need a ride, please register below so we can coordinate carpooling. We’ll meet at Peace Portal Church at 7pm and head to Cloverdale together.
Proverbs Men's Gathering
Join the men of Peace Portal Church for an evening of connection and conversation as we explore the wisdom of Proverbs and grow in fellowship with one another on Saturday, January 17th, 2025, from 6:00–8:00pm in the Peace Portal Church Café.
